The Trieste airport (Trieste No-borders Airport in Monfalcone) is situated 120 km from Porec, which under normal traffic conditions is a 1.5 hour drive with car, during main summer season you can run it to traffic jam at the border between Slovenia and Croatia.

1. By Car, the most direct route from Trieste airport to Porec goes via Trieste, Koper and enters into Croatia by the border crossing in Dragonja. An alternative route are via border crossing Sočerga (See map below), and then via Buzet and Motovon in Croatia, alternative route is about 20 km longer and has an estimated travel time of 2 hour.
